Yesterday was Research & Clinical Excellence Day for UCSF Dental. We heard Dr. Pogrel (in photo 2) speak, who won the Outstanding Clinician Award. He's quite funny!! The third picture is where the poster presentations were held. I went around to listen to several people speak about their project--some of them were just too smart for me. The first picture was on Wednesday while Alexa and I were walking sluggishly to the library, but then we realized how pretty the sky and fog were, and so that lifted our spirits. SF weather this week has been really nice. At night I don't have to wear a jacket either! So, that's why most of us decided to wear a dress. The last picture is of my classmates and I going to the VSA banquet event after the research day for some delicious food and some entertainment. :) We just finished two tests this week so we're all relaxing more than we should, even though we have at least a major test and a quiz every week. I'm going to go volunteer in China Town tomorrow with all the health professionals! Now, time to go study, eat, and dance!
