A White Christmas After Christmas

On January 11th, majority of the dental students of all classes compressed (jk) into cars and carpooled to Tahoe to their respective fraternity's cabins. It was so much fun playing with my camera while adding on Vinh's flash accessories and fish eye lens! I learned a bit more about cameras from those less horrible than me. I thought my dad's DSLR was pretty decent, but then everyone brought their DSLRs and lens upstairs and put mine to shame!! I want a flash speedlight & Canon 6D now... or I think that's what they're called. Grace has a 6D and when you snap a shot, the click is so quiet--it's amazing!!!

Anyway, people pretty much went snow boarding, skiing, or played pool. The random and weird picture above with a hazy looking smoke is my breath! BahAHaha......So, on Saturday we played in the snow and went sledding. The girls + Hansel built a snowman (broccoli for eyes, grape tomatoes for buttons, and a baby carrot for the nose) while the boys carved out a molar tooth. They then had a snowball fight while I got all up in people's way obstructing their visions in order to get closer action shots. Then for dinner, Mandy and Co made a delicious Mexican dinner. Afterwards they had a cookie activity. We picked a name out of a hat and then decorated a cookie for that person... haha I like Janice's boba cookie made by Chelsea! So cute! Paul also made Matt a cookie with fruits and nuts in a fancy cup. Then we did the white elephant gift exchange. Janice & Yun made us snickerdoodles. It was soo good--crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. Then people played games that consisted of cups and beers. And then donezo. There's my short by rather detailed summary of the trip. Ciao! Going to go buy coffee beans for the hermana now.
