Donde esta mi casa?

I went to San Francisco this past weekend, pretty much strictly dedicated to finding housing. I looked at four places. The above picture of the nice room, is NOT what I am getting. The picture above is on Judah St, right across from the Muni and bus station, you can see the Muni. I really like that place and room, but it makes me a bit nervous to live there, considering it's around 20 blocks away from the campus. I asked for the average time that first years go home each day, and every dental student I've asked has responded: 10pm-midnight (are you ready for this, Christina? haha). So I would be too drained to walk the 20 blocks home if the muni were not available that late. A classmate in my anatomy class gave me a website: Padmapper . It's basically Craigslist on a map, so you can visually see the house listings' locations. You can enter the city and narrow down selections by price range, number of rooms, etc. I also went to China Town and tried out pastries from Golden Gate Bakery. It's fair. It was so windy and cold in China Town! And there's so much fog in SF--it's a split between beautiful and sorrowful.

I need to make another trip up to SF to go explore and play--pronto!

Goodnight darlings,
Olivia

Lovely! Congrats on finding a place! You say there is so much fog, but all your pics feature lovely blue skies with barely a cloud in sight. :p

Yeah I know haha! While I was writing it, I was like these pictures show no sign of fog/gloomy sky. Going from SJ to SF on the freeway I could see the difference, I could see the darker sky and FOG. but it was pretty on the freeway, the fog and all the trees, like scenes from a magazine
