Life is about Exploring.

So I had to document today. Why? It's my first time going to the gym, trying to be more active, working out, and exploring further the Golden Gate Park! Whee! Alexa and I decided to be more active because we feel so buhh and tired all the time. It was my first time going to the school's gym. We did a short warm up and then some abs and tooshy work outs. Alexa was "training" me based on her trainer's moves when she used to be on the basketball team back in the days. Then we decided to go run with her boyfriend to the Golden Gate Park and find the Strawberry Fall! But we got lost and decided to just randomly explore different areas of the park. The higher we went, the more amazing the view of the city/homes were! The lighting was perfect--wished we brought our cameras! I kept running into these strong sprinklers near the waterfall and the Japanese Tea house...I got so wet. So it's pretty cool to have this park as our "backyard" in a way, as Alexa puts it. We're going to run tomorrow at the park again--this time we're going to find them buffaloes!

On a similar, but not, note: my professor, Dr. Lin, told me how life is all about exploring. We messed up during sim lab today when we titrated my one and only glass ionomer capsule only to find out that the dispenser gun was broken, thus my GI dried out. Initially, we didn't know if the gun was broken or not, but Dr. Lin said mmm go for it...probably isn't broken--but it was. And so he just told me about how life is all about exploring, regardless if you screw up or do well. So Alexa and I discussed about how it was something nice to keep in mind. Everyone always worry about "passing" everything--freaked out about failing any test case (like me). When really, this is the time to explore, make mistakes, and learn from them. Because in the end, we'll all graduate as proficient dentists. If you go to UCSF, Dr. Lin is a really funny and a good-hearted faculty.

This song is some remix/warp of Nicki Minaj's Starships. I couldn't find the original song. I've been listening to Starships on repeat!! Thanks JenP for this song!! :)
